These photos show the side plate ring before and after rinsing with SALT-X. Notice in the left photo the salt and rust build-up around the harness lug. The photo on the right shows the same plate after cleaning with SALT-X. Again, periodic rinsing with SALT-X is the answer to keeping salt induced rust and corrosion to a minimum!!!!

This photo shows two reel seats. The one on the right is typical of the effect that salt has on these items. The one on the left was identical to the one on the right before being cleaned with a solution of Salt-X !!!! These reel seats cost about $25 plus installation. Again, periodic spraying with Salt-X can drastically reduce this kind of damage !!!

Your lures and their hooks will also last much longer if dipped in Salt-X after each use. A solution of Salt-X aboard the boat may also be used to cut through the salt and slime in the fisherman's hands to prevent salt transfer to electronics. Salt-X is non-toxic.

The AUTO-MIX UNIT is for use with SALT-X to flush salt deposits from inside engines and for rinsing down larger areas such as boats, trailers, vehicles, homes, etc. The AUTO-MIX UNIT is made of brass for durabiity and is easy to use. The AUTO-MIX UNIT works with any garden hose and automatically mixes SALT-X at the proper dilution rate.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Attach the AUTO-MIX UNIT directly to the faucet and attach your garden hose to the AUTO-MIX UNIT. Drop the clear siphon hose into your container of SALT-X, attach a spray nozzle or motor flush unit to the end of your garden hose and you are ready to use SALT-X for flushing your boat engine or rinsing down larger areas.

FOR USE WITH MOTOR FLUSH UNITS: After following above directions, attach motor flush unit to outboard engine or outdrive per manufacturers directions. Turn water on first and then start engine. Run engine on FAST IDLE for fifteen (15) seconds after water starts coming out water exhaust port. Shut off motor and then shut off water source. If your engine does not need to be running for flushing, follow manufacturers directions for flushing, only have AUTO-MIX UNIT hooked up to run SALT-X through engine.

FOR USE ON BOATS, BOAT TRAILERS, CARS, TRUCKS, HOUSES, MOTOR/MOBILE HOMES, ETC: Attach standard spray nozzle to garden hose after connecting AUTO-MIX UNIT to faucet per above instructions. Using a WIDE ANGLE spray, rinse down all surfaces THOROUGHLY, making sure to get undersides of all vehicles and equipment. Wipe down all glass areas with a clean dry rag, paper towel or use window squeegee to remove corrosion inhibitor film IF NECESSARY! Use SALT-X every time your equipment comes in contact with salt or saltwater OR on a periodic basis as part of a preventive maintenance program for your car, truck, motor/mobile home, boat/travel trailer, etc. SALT-X and the AUTO-MIX UNIT are EXCELLENT for use after coastal storms for rinsing down HOUSES, MOTELS, ETC. to remove salt build-up.

The AUTO-MIX UNIT has an automatic safety valve to prevent chemicals from sucking back into the water system. Clean unit with clear water AFTER each use to keep metering tip clear and properly working. Do NOT disassemble unit. INNO-CHEM assumes no liability for misuse of product or AUTO-MIX UNIT.
